Mariam Saleem, Founding Partner
MS | Law is led by Mariam Saleem, who brings over 15 years of corporate, regulatory, and transactional experience across telecom, energy, capital markets, and digital assets.
Mariam has built one of Pakistan’s first dedicated virtual assets regulatory practices, advising global exchanges, stablecoin infrastructure providers, custody firms, token issuers, and fintech companies on market entry and licensing under the Virtual Assets Act, 2026 and the PVARA framework. Her practice has particular depth in VASP structuring, stablecoin and RWA tokenization advisory, sandbox and NOC strategy, and the SBP foreign exchange interface, with a strong focus on the Pakistan-UAE corridor and comparative analysis across UAE/VARA and EU/MiCA frameworks.
Her transactional background encompasses cross-border M&A, competition proceedings, international arbitration, and PPP/joint venture mandates in sectors including telecom, energy, real estate, and technology.
A Canadian national educated at King’s College London (LL.B. First Class with Distinction; Herbert Smith Prize in International Trade Law), Mariam brings an international perspective to Pakistan’s emerging digital asset economy. She is a syndicated columnist at The News International, writing on virtual asset regulation, stablecoins, and financial innovation, and speaks regularly at industry forums including Wealth Expo Islamabad and +92 Disrupt.

Syeda Muskan Ali, Associate Counsel
Syeda Muskan Ali Zaidi is a legal professional specializing in digital assets, fintech, and corporate transactional law, with strong research experience in financial technology regulation and cross-border compliance. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of London and has developed her corporate advisory background through experience at the State Bank of Pakistan and other Legal 500 ranked law firms. Currently working as an associate counsel, she applies this experience to handle complex commercial matters and technology regulation.
